TOPICAINE® 5 is a non-oily translucent gel containing Lidocaine 5 %, a skin numbing topical anesthetic ingredient. This is the maximum concentration allowed by the FDA without a prescription and it has a label indication for anorectal pain.
Medical and aesthetic professionals widely use TOPICAINE® 5 off-label to relief the pain of a great variety of minor medical and beauty treatments.
The formulation is able to quickly penetrate the skin through a specially designed delivery system with permeation enhancers. TOPICAINE® 5 has also skin soothing agents like shea butter and alpha bisabolol.
Fast onset of action (skin numbing starts at 5-10 minutes) and a long duration of numbing effect (30-60 minutes depending on the site and application time). Efficacy proven in independent clinical studies.

Terrific!

TOPICAINE® 5 contains lidocaine 5% formulated in a cooling, non-oily, penetrating gel composed of water, ethanol, glycerin, jojoba oil, aloe vera oil, shea butter, alpha-bisabolol, glyceryl monolaureate, benzyl alcohol, carbomer 940 and EDTA.
TOPICAINE® 5 has almost the same composition as TOPICAINE® 4, except it contains more lidocaine, 5%, and the gel contains two additional ingredients: shea butter and alpha bisabolol. These are extra soothing ingredients for the skin, and give the product a more occlusive effect to enhance delivery.

Fast Onset of Numbing Action: starts working in 5-10 minutes.
Maximum Numbness: achieved at 30-60 minutes depending on the area, doctor tested and proven in independent clinical studies.
Long-Lasting Relief: the skin remains numb for approximately double the application time.
