Estela Basso- Summary Bio:

Ms. Basso is a Pharmaceutical Chemist with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and cosmetics & toiletries industries. At Alza Corporation, she contributed to the development of polymeric biodegradable implants and transdermal delivery systems. At Colgate-Palmolive she worked in formulation development and microbiology quality control of personal care products. At Dorrego Laboratories she obtained hands-on and managerial experience in the manufacture of conventional pharmaceuticals such as tablets and injectables. She is the founder and president (1995 to date) of ESBA Laboratories Inc. (previously DermaScan), which manufactures and distributes innovative personal care and dermatological products, including a specially formulated topical anesthetic, TOPICAINE® extensively used by physicians and professionals in the aesthetic fields.
